Make a difference! Alumni and friends can support the College and today’s students by volunteering their time, experience and skills.
Here are just a few of the volunteer opportunities at Delaware County Community College:
Support the Alumni Association
The Alumni Association is always looking for volunteers to help with its many programs, events and services. To learn more, email alumni at dccc.edu or call 610-359-7399.
Serve on Alumni Council
Alumni Council is the executive committee of the Alumni Association. These dedicated alumni volunteer their time throughout the year to plan exciting events and programs for their fellow alums. If you’re interested in serving on the Alumni Council, or would like to nominate another alumnus/a to serve, please e-mail alumni at dccc.edu.
Be a mentor
You can help current students and your fellow graduates with their career networking. How? By joining the College Central Services Mentoring Network, which allows alumni and students to connect online and find mentors. To take part, register with Delaware County Community College online at CCN Services.
Support fundraising for the College
The College depends on the contributions of alumni, corporations, foundations and friends to support scholarships and help the College grow. Please dccc.edu/ways-to-give.
Be a volunteer tutor
Volunteer tutors are usually retired professionals or part-time faculty members who have acquired expertise in a particular area through their work. Learn more about becoming a volunteer tutor.
