While we have been offering online instruction at Delaware County Community College since 1998, the spring semester was a new experience for us as an institution as we moved classes online midway through the semester to comply with federal and state guidelines responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. We'll be mostly online through the fall and winter sessions but our faculty are ready to offer instruction online utilizing a range of tools and techniques designed to help you get the full experience out of your online experience.
"Delaware County Community College is behind you
and we want you to succeed."
-Maria Boyd, Assistant Professor, Communications, Arts & Humanities
Tips for Success Online
- Develop a routine and set a schedule of when you will do your work.
- Designate a space for school work. Put a towel or other object on the chair you use so others know that you are working on school work.
- Use a physical calendar or calendar app to keep track of due dates for assignments, online office hours for faculty and more.
- Utilize the many resources the College continues to offer online available from the Career & Counseling Center, Disability Services, the Learning Commons and more.
- Reach out to faculty directly or students with questions or problems you are encountering.
