The Student Writing Journal
The Student Writing Journal is a refereed online journal showcasing superior academic non-fiction writing from students at the College. These essays represent the finest work – a combination of compelling ideas and outstanding writing – produced by our academic community’s newest members.
Our hope is that a journal like The SWJ will create an academic community and facilitate the exchange of ideas among its members. This journal provides one place where we foster students’ voices in Delaware County Community College’s thought-provoking academic dialogue. In each issue, our writers synthesize complex information, read and analyze points of view, and inquire and construct academic arguments to bring new academic insights to bear on exigent civic issues.
