Strategic Plan Priority 3 - Enrollment
Educating the citizens of Delaware and Chester Counties is the primary reason Delaware County Community College exists.
As a result, identifying ways to increase our impact and reach (enrollment) is critical for our strategic planning.
The College commits to using a student-centered approach to examine what success means to students and eliminating barriers to their success. We will improve enrollment, retention, progression, and completion by learning from students and faculty, implementing best practices, and using data to inform our decisions. This work will be designed and implemented with a commitment to increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion. The College has set a goal of increasing credit enrollment by 3% over the next three years.

Goal 6
Position the College as an agile leader in innovation—a change agent—one that is responsive and capable of fulfilling the talent needs of the regional workforce and the global economy.
Strategies:
- Capture and report on student outcomes to meeting their individual educational goals (degree and certificate completion, transfer success, credit attainment for select courses, etc.) and identify any barriers to progression (financial, mental health and well-being, transportation, etc.).
- Capture and report on employer’s needs and develop programs that meet those needs.
