Strategic Plan Priority 4 - Expansion
Expansion can be defined as the act of increasing in dimensions, scope, or inclusiveness. Thus, the College seeks to create the equitable expansion of College access and success and to foster greater inclusivity amongst our students, faculty, staff, and the communities we serve.
Goal 1
Comprehensive, new campus plan.
Strategy:
- Establish a New Southeast Campus Steering Committee that will provide recommendations and support for the implementation of courses, programs and services needed to meet the academic and workforce training needs of the students who reside within the diverse communities surrounding the new campus.
Goal 2
Ability to fully complete programs at branch campus locations through combination of traditional and other modalities.
Strategy:
- Provide complete programs of study on-site at branch campus locations. All courses needed for program completion will be delivered on campus and/or online.
Goal 3
Competitive, timely, in-demand new programs.
Strategies:
- Identify and implement innovative, in-demand programs which may include concentrations and/or tracks, stackable credentials, non-credit to credit pathways, skill/certification badges, dual degrees and foundational majors.
- Sunset outdated, poor-performing, and low-enrolled programs.
Goal 4
Consider name and mission change.
Strategies:
- Explore the effectiveness and inclusivity of the current name of the College.
- Assemble a task force to review, reexamine, recommend, and rewrite the College mission statement.
