A Letter from our President
At Delaware County Community College, our mission is to facilitate learning by providing quality educational programs and services that are student-focused, accessible, comprehensive, and flexible to meet the needs of our diverse community.
With that intention in mind, I invite you to participate in a transformative opportunity - the Building Community Campaign - a bold $7.5 million initiative that will expand our reach and not only facilitate learning, but change lives. The Campaign’s impact extends far beyond the College - every dollar donated is estimated to generate $11 in local earnings, creating a ripple effect that fuels economic growth across Delaware and Chester Counties.
The Southeast Center, with fully functional, state-of-the-art facilities, is a keystone in our Campaign that will not only expand our programming but also ensure that Delaware County businesses have access to a talented and well-trained workforce. As a result of our new strategic location, DCCC will prepare thousands of qualified workers for high-priority fields, helping to meet the employment demands of our evolving region.
Along with the Center, the Campaign will expand Workforce Development to stay at the forefront of evolving workforce technologies, Student Access & Success so that our students can focus on their education instead of life’s unanticipated emergencies, and Equity & Social Justice to create opportunities for community engagement that can bring about social change.
Toward our goal, we have raised an impressive $6.2 million. With your support, whether you choose to name a building space or make a scholarship gift, you can generously invest in our future and help us reach $7.5 million. Every dollar counts.
