(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—All former students and graduates of Delaware County Community College are invited to submit a nomination for the 2012 Alumni Awards Program. The program seeks to highlight successful graduates in the areas of professional accomplishment, community involvement and educational achievement. The deadline for nominations is February 28, 2012.
Alumni can be nominated in one of the following categories:
- Wong Moss Outstanding Alumni Award—This award recognizes distinguished alumni for their outstanding professional, community service and educational accomplishments. It was created by the late Barbara Wong Moss, a former College trustee, and her son John in honor of her father, a Chinese immigrant who believed in the value of education. The award will be presented in September 2012 in conjunction with the College’s 45th anniversary celebration.
- Alumni Professional Achievement—This award annually recognizes graduates who are accomplished in their profession, having demonstrated a significant level of distinction within their chosen field. This award is presented at the College’s Commencement ceremony, and the recipient will be invited to address the graduating class.
