SpectiCast Series Presents Phantom of the Opera

(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—Delaware County Community College’s 2012 SpectiCast series continues with an HD broadcast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at 2 p.m. The performance will be shown in the Large Auditorium in the Academic Building on the Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA).
SpectiCast, in association with Omniverse Vision, is proud to bring the 25th anniversary of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh’s history-making Phantom of the Opera to the big screen. With a fully staged, lavish production set in the sumptuous Victorian splendor of the Royal Albert Hall, the event has captured cinema audiences around the world.
Phantom is Broadway's longest running show and has been seen by over 100 million people worldwide. This special event features over 200 cast members, orchestra musicians, and luminaries involved with Phantom of the Opera over the past 25 years.
Now in its third year, the College’s SpectiCast series brings the classical realm of music, dance and opera closer to home for residents of Delaware and Chester Counties. Each performance is produced using a state-of-the-art audiovisual system and is choreographed to capture the fullness of the orchestral performance and the intimacy of the on-stage experience.
