Enroll Early and Still Have Plenty of Time for Sun and Fun
(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • June 8, 2011)—Students who want to hasten their studies, lighten their fall course load, and save money are encouraged to register for the Summer II classes (July 5 through August 12) at Delaware County Community College - one of the most affordable education options available. Classes meet at several locations in Delaware and Chester counties.
“The College enrolls students from more than 100 colleges and universities in our summer sessions,” said Fran Cubberley, vice president for Enrollment Management.
More students are enrolling at Delaware County Community College as a cost-saving strategy given the increased tuition at many post-secondary institutions where fees have increased considerably over the past several years. The affordable tuition at the College lowers the cost of a four-year degree significantly.
“With the rising costs of education, accelerating studies during the summer can help students realize their goals quicker and at a much lower cost,” Cubberley adds.
Register now - courses fill up fast. The last date to register is June 29. Current students may register by using deleGATE, the College’s official student communications portal or in person at the Marple Campus and Southeast Center in Delaware County and at the Downingtown and Pennocks Bridge Campuses and Exton Center in Chester County.
Reminder: Deadline for financial aid (FAFSA) is June 30, 2011.
