College Signs Transfer Agreement with Pennsylvania College of Art and Design

(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • May 7, 2015)— On Wednesday, May 6, 2015, Delaware County Community College and the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design (PCA&D) signed a dual admission transfer agreement. The agreement gives Delaware County Community College students who earn an Associate in Fine Arts in Graphic Design or Photography the opportunity to transfer to the respective Bachelor of Fine Arts program at PCA&D.
“We have a long history and tradition at Delaware County Community College of offering a rich arts program. This partnership with PCA&D provides a great opportunity for our students and is a tremendous affirmation of our program,” says Dr. Jerry Parker, President of Delaware County Community College.
Mary Colleen Heil, President of PCA&D, echoed Parker’s sentiments, adding, “We’re very happy to be part of this partnership.”
Students who meet the requirements and take advantage of the agreement are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship. The partnership also gives faculty at both institutions the opportunity to collaborate and network.
