Comcast Vice President James P. McCue to Speak at the College
(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • November 6, 2014)—The College’s Student Business Society will host James P. McCue, vice president and assistant treasurer of Comcast Corporation, at 11:05 a.m., Tuesday, November 18 in the Large Auditorium (Room 2225) on the College’s Marple Campus, 901 South Media Line Road, Media. McCue will speak about his experiences managing Comcast’s finances and related corporate activities.
At Comcast, McCue is responsible for many of the corporation’s financing activities, including capital formation, liability management, share repurchases, derivative financial instrument transactions and financial modeling. Previously, he served as president of Comcast Capital Corporation in Wilmington, Del., for six years and as senior director of financial reporting for Comcast Corporation for eight years, where he was responsible for internal and external financial reporting for the company.
Prior to joining Comcast in 1996, McCue was a senior manager with Arthur Andersen LLP, serving clients in the firm’s Emerging Growth Industry Group. He spent nine years with Arthur Andersen in Philadelphia.
McCue is a member of the National Association of Corporate Treasurers, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Villanova University. He resides with his wife and four children in Villanova, Pa.
