"Designer Bag Bingo" New Choices Fundraiser
(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • April 18, 2018)—If you love bingo, designer handbags, chocolate or wine, don’t miss Designer Bag Bingo, an event to benefit Delaware County Community College’s New Choices Career Development Program. The event will be held on Wednesday, May 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria on the Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA). Tickets are $35 ahead of time, $40 at the door and include bingo, a light meal and samples of wines and fine chocolates in a casual and enjoyable atmosphere.
The College’s New Choices Program empowers individuals in career transition to achieve increased economic security through career assessment and guidance, personal growth, education and employment. New Choices is FREE (for those who are eligible) and provides individual and group support, career planning workshops, employer contacts, networking opportunities, resume writing, interviewing techniques and basic computer skills. Classes and workshops are designed to build self-confidence and awareness.
Starting on Tuesday, May 15, the program is offering a four-week, 10-class “mini” session. Interested individuals are invited to call 610-359-5232 for more information. Classes are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and held at the Marple Campus.
