Author Michael Domitrz to Present "Can I Kiss You?" on April 23
(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • April 2, 2019)—Author Michael Domitrz will present “Can I Kiss You?”, an interactive and thought-provoking look at relationships, intimacy and sexual assault on Tuesday, April 23 from 11:05 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Large Auditorium on Delaware County Community College’s Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA). Domitrz’s frank discussion will help students discover specific how-to skills for asking for consent, making smarter choices with partners, supporting survivors of sexual assault and creating a cultural shift on campus. The event is presented as part of the It’s On Us PA grant, which the College was awarded earlier this year.
Through the presentation, Domitrz, who founded The DATE SAFE Project, will reveal three life-changing approaches most students have never heard. Campuses praise The DATE SAFE Project for how it presents an old issue with a refreshing viewpoint. Attendees are provided with real solutions to talking about sex and boundaries. The DATE SAFE Project uses both humor and hard-hitting emotion to give students the skills they can easily implement into their own lives instantly.

This program is made possible thanks to an It’s On Us PA grant the College received through the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The $26,732.43 award will help the College combat campus sexual assault. To learn more, see: dccc.edu/its-on-us-grant.
