Computer Illustration | ART 208
This course is an introduction to the computer as a drawing, illustration, and design tool. Students will gain an understanding of the creation of drawings and illustrations and their practical applications in digital media and art. Students will be given hands-on instruction on Apple Macintosh computers using a current object-oriented drawing program. Contemporary and historic styles of illustration, composition, and typography will be introduced with an emphasis on aesthetic, technical, and conceptual practices.
