Artist Statement
When it comes to my paintings, I seek to incorporate the real with the imaginative. My works are about using the language of color and form to give life to something one does not see in real life, to use the techniques of reality to project images of the imaginative. Salvador Dali once quoted “So little of what happens does happen”, not many people project portraits of characters or events told in stories or movies, but I’m one of the few who do. Through the magic’s of acrylic paints I make wonders and unleash monsters.
