Drexel University - Dual Admissions Agreement
The Dual Admissions (DA) program with Drexel University allows qualifying students graduating from certain DCCC degrees to receive a guaranteed acceptance into a parallel bachelor's degree program with junior status. Full-time enrollment is required, with a fall-quarter typical start term.
Students majoring in the following DCCC programs with intended Drexel majors are eligible for the DA agreement:
A.A. Administration of Justice
A.A. Communication Arts: Communication Studies:
A.A. Communication Arts: Journalism
A.A. Early Childhood Education
A.A. English
A.A. Global Studies
A.A. History
A.A. Liberal Arts
A.A.S. Culinary Arts
A.S. Business Administration
A.S. Engineering
A.S. Mathematics/Natural Science
A.S. Sociology
To enroll, students must complete an Intent to Enroll form before earning 45 college credits.
Students enrolled in the DA program should submit a completed Admissions Application in their final semester at DCCC or within one-year of their DCCC associate degree. The application fee will be waived. Students are not to attend any other institution following the awarding of their associate degree and prior to matriculating to Drexel University.
Students must earn a minimum 2.00 GPA, and a maximum of 60 credits may transfer to Drexel University under the terms of this agreement. Only grades of "C" or higher can transfer towards the bachelor's degree major.*

* Some majors at Drexel University require a higher GPA. Please refer to Exhibit A in the Transfer Agreement in Transfer Check.
