I came to Delaware County Community College over 20 years ago bringing with me a diverse background of working in the service industry, case management for brain injury survivors, and as a child advocate working with youth navigating challenging home environments. I believe this brings a unique perspective in working with college students. I enjoy working at DCCC as every individual is just that, an individual with unique needs and possibilities. I enjoy meeting students where they are in their college pathway and supporting them through their goals. I’m available to help guide our students and make connections for their continued success.

Theoretical Approach, Experience, and Temperament
My overall theoretical approach starts with the understanding that students come to DCCC at different times in their life. Whether you are a traditional-aged student starting your college career, shifting from a 4-year college to a community college, or returning to college after a few or even many years of time off, I’m here to work with you on your individual goals. I am open and supportive to you in hopes of helping you with your college career. My office is a safe place for all and if we run into issues in which we need additional supports, I will support you in making those connections. I have a balance of energy and enthusiasm as well as a calm side that I hope keeps everyone comfortable yet motivated to do their best while at DCCC. Please let me know if you have specific issues or needs that you think I can help you with when we meet. An open dialog is needed in order to make positive changes as you navigate your way through your time here at DCCC. As a DCCC counselor, I provide the following services: • Personal Counseling • Academic Advising • Transfer Advising • Referrals to outside assistance if not included in the counseling services at DCCC
