Our comprehensive New Student Orientation is your introduction to college life at DCCC. This essential program provides you with crucial information about campus resources, academic advising, and student services. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other new students and become familiar with the college environment.

We value the knowledge and experience you bring to DCCC. Our Credit for Prior Learning program allows you to earn college credits for relevant work experience, military service, and other life experiences, helping you to save time and accelerate your educational journey.

The first step to putting students on the right path begins with testing to ensure a good fit between an individual’s readiness and the rigor of the class. Placement test, SAT or ACT results are used for advising and course placement and do not count as part of an overall GPA.
