(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—“Into the Woods,” the James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim musical featuring everyone’s favorite storybook characters and a Tony Award-winning book and score, is coming to Delaware County Community College. The enchanting modern classic—featuring songs like “No One is Alone” and “Children Will Listen”—took Broadway by storm and was adapted into a popular 2014 film.

DCCC brings “Into the Woods” to the stage at the College’s Marple Campus (901 South Media Line Road, Media, PA 19063) April 9 to 12 at 7 p.m. in the Academic Building’s Large Auditorium. The story follows a childless baker and his wife who are charged by a witch with procuring magical items from classic fairy tales to reverse the curse put on their family tree. Along the way they meet Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack in the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and more. 

The production is directed by Ali Caiazzo and the music director is Kennedy McAlister. Tickets are $15 general admission, and $10 for students (valid school ID required).
