English Language Learning

CSP 5021 / Length: 40 hours

ESL provides beginning, intermediate and advanced instruction in listening, speaking, reading and writing English. Students will take a placement test on the first night to determine the level they will be placed in for the upcoming classes. Books will be provided after placements are determined.

Mandatory placement testing for ELL sections will take place on February 11, 2026 at 7 p.m. After testing, students will be placed in the appropriate level.  All classes will begin the week of February 24. Once established, all levels will be 40 hours of instruction.

Level 5 – Advanced
Level 4 – Intermediate

Level 3 – Low Intermediate
Level 2 – Beginner

Beginner English Language Learning

CSP 9421 / Length: 20 hours

Come join this class! Students will be supported in gaining speaking and some writing skills. This is a great start for students who have very limited English speaking and writing skills. Students will be given books and will receive 20 hours of ELL support. This is the perfect start before you join us for one of our other ELL classes! 

CSP 9491 / Length: 30 hours

This advanced English Language Learning course is designed for students who have successfully completed ELL Level 4 or 5 and want to expand their language skills to have success in the workplace. The course teaches business communication and language, helping students develop relevant communication skills to use immediately in the workplace.
