Success stories
“My professor, Dr. Lauren Donovan, invited students to participate in a meeting with DCCC’s Business Advisory Board. At the meeting she connected me with local business leaders, including Rosati Water Ice owner Richard Trotter. Rich graciously offered me an internship. He allowed me to combine my marketing background as a realtor with knowledge gained in my DCCC business courses to take ownership of an email marketing campaign promoting the launch of a new Rosati business initiative.”

“Education in the U.S. is known all around the world. Studying in the United States doesn’t simply give you a substantial degree. Your experience says something in regards to your identity. Living in and examining the U.S. where your language isn’t spoken is challenging, requires bravery and an inspirational state of mind.”

“From all the courses that I’ve taken so far along the way, DCCC surely employs the best set of professors that I can ever imagine. But most importantly, as a community college, I would say they should be one of the most diverse schools across Pennsylvania. Currently being here at the school, they also support students like me with more than 50 transfer agreements with four year schools and could be guaranteed a huge amount of scholarship based of on your GPA..”

“The United States is the land of dreams. The atmosphere of my home country requires hard work to be successful. However, even though students put a lot of efforts, it is hard to get into a good school and get a job. On the contrary, in the U.S, if I am ready to learn and acquire high goals, I believe anyone can be successful. Do not be scared of a new challenge! If you want [to study abroad], come and face it!”
