Commercial Driver’s License Training
Embark on a new career in commercial truck driving. Begin in the classroom, where you will learn about the vehicles, basic truck driving controls, pre-trip inspection, cargo handling, emergency protocols and more. Then on the driving range, you will practice mastering operation and control of the vehicle. Finally, take your newly acquired skills on the road, with our experienced instructors by your side guiding you through what you need to know to be successful. Upon graduation, you receive a certificate plus all the skills you need to obtain your commercial driver’s license (CDL) and land an entry-level position in commercial trucking.

Class Schedule
Classes run Monday-Thursday 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Week 1 – 40 Hours Classroom
Week 2 – 40 Hours Range/Pre-trip
Week 3 – 40 Hours Range/Road
Week 4 – 42 Hours Range/Road – testing (2 hours)
Pass the Test and Obtain a Job
The material presented in this Class A CDL program is designed to enable you to take and pass the Commercial Driver’s License test in your state of residence. As a graduate, you will have sufficient skills and knowledge to find your first job as an entry-level tractor trailer driver with a quality carrier. We partner with many companies that have in-house training departments that provide additional training to entry-level drivers. Local employment opportunities also exist for the more capable graduates.
Job Outlook
These skills are in great demand in today’s workplace resulting in high employer demand and great career outlook! The U.S. Department of Labor reports that commercial driving is expected to grow 11 percent nationally through 2032. Commercial truck traffic is vital to our nation’s economic prosperity. Our economy depends on trucks to deliver 10 billion tons of virtually every commodity consumed…over 80 percent of all freight transported annually in the U.S. In the U.S. alone, this accounts for over $700 billion worth of goods transported by truck.
