Dear Delaware and Chester County Community Members,
We are living in unprecedented times. The COVID-19 pandemic has created a great deal of difficulty and uncertainty in our communities, but I am confident that this crisis will pass, and we will emerge stronger than ever. As we face these uncertainties, it is important to remember that some elements of our community remain unchanged. For over 50 years, Delaware County Community College has been a part of helping our communities to adapt, grow and thrive, and we stand ready to continue that work.
Committed to our community
Your community’s college provides exceptional educational programs and services to meet the educational needs of the diverse communities we serve. Although the College’s physical campuses and centers are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teaching, learning, advising, registration, tutoring, and counseling services continue in a remote format. Virtual admission information sessions allow prospective students and their families to see firsthand what the College has to offer, and we continue to develop new ways to engage with our students. This virus may have changed how we do things, but not what we do for the communities of Delaware and Chester counties.
I know that for many families, this situation has now made the prospect of sending a child to college unsettling. Delaware County Community College is more than an exceptional academic choice—we offer a local economic value unmatched by other colleges and universities in the region. Credits earned at Delaware County Community College transfer to four-year institutions, while career and technical degrees and certificates prepare students to go directly into the workforce, some in as little as six months. Our expanded online options and seven locations throughout Delaware and Chester counties offer the flexibility and convenience to meet your individual needs.
