Under the Dual Admissions (DA) program with Alvernia University, DCCC students will be guaranteed admission into a parallel bachelor’s degree program with junior status. Students may attend as a full-time or part-time student.

To be eligible for the DA program, students must graduate from DCCC with an A.A., A.S., A.A.S. or A.F.A. degree 

To enroll in the program, students must complete an Intent to Enroll form before earning 45 college credits. Students who complete the Intent to Enroll form after 45 college credits, but before 75, will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Students enrolled in the DA program are to complete the Admissions Application the semester prior to their start at Alvernia University. The application fee will be waived. A maximum of 75 credits may transfer to Alvernia University under the terms of this agreement (90 credits for the RN to BSN program). Only grades of “C” or higher can transfer towards the bachelor’s degree major (C+ in science courses for Nursing students). Once accepted, students have the opportunity to enroll at Alvernia University within one year of graduation from DCCC and not attend any other institutions following graduation.
