Welcome to the Division of Allied Health and Nursing: if you are a prospective student, you have selected to learn about one of the most advanced and cost-effective nursing programs in Pennsylvania.

In our division you will find a variety of programs and courses that can springboard your career into the health care, emergency services, and nursing arenas.

AHN Programs

Nursing

Develop competencies essential to safe, effective nursing practice in a variety of health care settings within the community; upon successful completion, A.A.S. (Associate in Applied Science) recipients are eligible to sit for the state licensure examination to become registered nurses (NCLEX-RN).

Special Application Procedures

Nursing

To apply for admission to the Nursing Program (RN), you should:

  • Attend an information session. To find out about upcoming sessions, visit the Admissions Events calendar.
  • Follow the instructions as outlined in the Nursing Entrance Requirements Packet- Fall 2025.
  • After attending an information session and completing the nursing pre-requisite requirements as listed in the nursing packet, petition for the program by visiting dccc.edu/apply. *You must have previously completed the general application for admission before you can submit your online petition.

Surgical Technology

If you would like to apply for admission to the Surgical Technology program, you must:

  • Attend an information session. To find out about upcoming sessions, see the Admissions Event calendar.
  • Follow the instructions as outlined in the Surgical Technology Entrance Requirements Packet – Fall 2025.
  • After attending an information session and completing any surgical technology pre-requisite requirements as listed in the surgical technolgy packet, petition for the program by visiting dccc.edu/apply. *You must have previously completed the general application for admission before you can submit your online petition.
