Cost of Attendance

Financial Aid Awarding at Delaware County Community College (DCCC) starts with creating standard cost of attendance (COA) budgets, reflecting modest yet adequate expenses for students. The COA for undergraduates covers the fall and spring semesters (summer is separate) and can be viewed in the financial aid offer emailed to students or on the DCCC delaGATE portal under the Award Overview tab.

The COA includes both direct costs (tuition and fees paid to the College) and indirect costs (housing, meals, transportation, and other personal expenses). These combined costs help determine financial aid eligibility. Financial aid offers may include grants, scholarships, loans, work-study, and scholarships from private organizations. The total aid awarded cannot exceed the COA.
