How to Register for Summer in Florence

  1. Print the CAPA Application.
  2. Complete and return the CAPA Application with your $300 deposit to:

    Boston, MA 02205-5087

    Once your application is received by CAPA, you will receive updated information as your program registration is processed.
  3. Register for the Delaware County Community College course(s) as follows:
    1. If you are currently enrolled at the College, please submit a written request to the Enrollment Management Office, specifying the Summer in Florence course(s) for which you wish to register.
    2. If you are enrolled at another college, or if you are not currently a student but wish to participate in the Summer in Florence program, you must complete a Delaware County Community College application for admission. This form is available on the College's web site at http://www.dccc.edu/admissions or from the Enrollment Management Office. Your completed application should be returned to Enrollment Management (not the Admissions Office), along with a written request specifying the course(s) for which you wish to register.
    3. After you are registered for your course(s), you will receive an invoice from the College for tuition and fees. Please be sure to make payment by the due date to maintain your seat in class. Tuition and fees must be paid in order for you to participate in the CAPA program.

  • Apartment utility costs that exceed a total of 43 Euros per student

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

By February 22, 2008: $300 due with CAPA Application ($250 of this deposit is non-refundable)

By March 20, 2008: $2,149 (remaining balance of CAPA program fee plus refundable housing deposit; does not include utility costs exceeding the 43 Euros allowance, or course tuition and fees.)

Delaware County Community College will issue a separate invoice for tuition and fees in early April based on students' course registrations.

TUITION & FEES: $365 per course, plus textbooks

LATE FEES

CAPA will apply a late fee of $100 to all payments received after March 20, 2008. Any outstanding balance that isn't settled within 10 days of the payment deadline will result in removal from the program.

FINANCIAL AID

Delaware County Community College students eligible for financial aid may be able to use a portion of their package toward the cost of the program. If you are currently receiving aid for the 2007-2008 academic year, please consult with the Financial Aid Office immediately to discuss possible options. If you did not apply for financial aid for this year, you may still do so by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), preferably online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. Your FAFSA must be filed by April 1.

Any Delaware County Community College student interested in using financial aid to assist with the cost of participating in this program is encouraged to make an appointment with our Financial Aid Office.
